I would like to again extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who supported me in this week’s primary election.
As we move into the next phase of the campaign, I encourage you to check my website for campaign updates, upcoming events, and ways that you can get involved. Did you know that once you “join my network” you can register to host an event or create your own personal fundraising site?
The next few months will be a busy time for Team Tierney and you should feel free to follow me on Facebook so that you are able to keep up-to-date with the campaign’s activities and ways that you can get involved.
I’ll also continue to share press releases and news articles of local and national importance on my blog and in other areas of my website. In fact, I wanted to make sure that you had seen the New York Times/CBS news poll which was released this week and which shows that by a 22 point margin, Americans believe that the Democrats are better suited than the Republicans to help the middle class.
Other interesting highlights from the poll are as follows:
- By an 11 point margin, Americans surveyed believe that if Republicans were to win control of Congress that they will return to the same failed policies of the Bush Administration.
- Americans believe that Democrats are more likely to create new jobs.
- 72% of Americans believe that the Republicans do not have a clear plan for solving our nation’s problems.
